Bought as xmas gift for Mother in Law -- never had a Keurig before. The quick start instructions were too difficult for her to understand, but not hard for me. Basically open everything, take the water filter out of the pack (there is two, so only take out one), soak it in water for 5m, rinse, put it in the plastic filter container. Set the replace date (looks like every 2-3 months?) and stick it in the water reservoir after you wash it, too. The pedestal at the bottom doesn't screw into everything, just slide it in (doesn't move with the machine so you can take it out/wash it easily). Fill the reservoir with water b/w min/max, then turn it on and follow directions. Took maybe 15m to setup including finding counter space and double/triple checking. Worked with all the 2.0 cups she also got for xmas. Make sure you set the # of oz to the cup size you're using -- we started /w 8 oz and it was too small! 10-12 oz will work for most coffee cups. Whether you should use cocoa/other setting should be on the pod/box you're using. Heated up water very quickly from reservoir (compared to stovetop kettle) and can make cups pretty fast one after the other. Reservoir goes down pretty fast when you have 5-6 people getting drinks, but not too hard to fill up using the sink hose attachment. Imagine you could just use a measuring cup to pour water in, too. Reservoir top doesn't hinge, but does sit solidly. Overall very happy with purchase (gotten on sale) and it's easy enough for mom in law to use with a few button pushes. Compared to the cheaper model this comes with all the extra items to increase longevity of use you'd need to get eventually anyways.

The Keurig K250 - Small on Size Big on Features and Functionality
If you are looking for the perfect brewer for your desk at work, this is it. The Keurig 2.0 system has some great features - such as increased brew strength (great for those tough Monday mornings, hot water on demand (Earl Grey here we come), and an easy to use touch screen interface. The 40 oz. reservoir ensures that you will not be making constant trips to the water cooler for refills. I recently was able to make use of the cleaning feature which is an added bonus to make sure the insert tip is clean and functional. This was very easy to use and made routine maintenance a breeze. Thanks, Keurig, for the free pods for this review.
