After my large carafe style coffee maker died i was left with no other choice than to dig out my Senseo that i had buried in the cabinet, which i had stopped using because the coffee pods for Senseo were weak bad grade coffee at a VERY steep price. I had to use 2 Pods every morning for a watery inferior cup of coffee which meant i went through a bag of pods a week…and at almost $7 a bag that’s not cheap! When i found out about reusable pods i had to have them! But i couldnt decide on the Coffeeduck or the Ecopad. Both had good and bad reviews. So when i discovered the Bundle i ordered it immediatly..problem solved. SO glad that i did because while i like both style reusable pods…in my opinion they make totally different style cups of coffee. The coffeeduck makes a French press style cup of coffee.. nice and strong with a little sludge in the bottom of your mug (if your a fan of a french press like me then the sludge is a welcome sight) but it doesn’t make the Senseo signature foam head on your coffee. The Ecopad however, does! and while it is a bit smaller than the coffeeduck (so it wont make a double cup as strong as that does).. i find that it is perfect for espresso (make sure you grind your espresso very fine). So between the two pods all my coffee desires are filled. Plus the packaging was perfect and i recieved it in 3 days with regular shipping…around the holidays to boot.

|They both work–just different results,
I couldn’t decide between the Ecopads and the Coffeeduck; so, I ordered this bundle and I’m glad I did. This way, I can have a pod of decaf ready while my wife uses the duck for regular–no dealing with hot coffee grounds in between. They do work diferently; if you like the espresso foam, the pads are the better choice.

I use the ecopad way more than the duck. The ecopad in my opinion is just like using a pod. I think it even creates more froth then a regular pod.
